The City contractor is well begin correcting the steep slope on the private drive section of Town Center Boulevard during the week of January 30. The work is estimated to take 5 days to complete. Barricades will be placed to close the private drive access to the frontage road and will close the left turning lane coming from the railroad tracks and the straight through lane coming from the existing Town Center Blvd section. The curb ramps and landing in the median will also be removed and lowered to ensure the cross slope for the crosswalk does not exceed the maximum allowable per ADA requirements.
Update: TxDot has extended the completion date of this project to February 7.
