The northbound lane of Hwy 36 at Hwy 59 has now been reduced to a single lane. The southbound lane of Hwy 36 at 59 will be reduced to a single lane on Saturday, Dec. 4. The northbound & southbound feeder lanes for I-69 at the SH36 intersection have been switched over to the new concrete pavement. Also, NB & SB lanes for SH36 will be shifted toward the west and reduced to a single lane in both directions through December for continued reconstruction of SH36 under I-69. Traffic patterns will adjust again in January. The U-turn for I-69 from SB to NB will be open. Expect delays in the area during this ongoing TxDOT project.
