    Join us for a brand new Kids Cooking class! This month we are making Bread two ways. All Kid Chefs will get to make their very own bread from scratch! We bring the supplies our Kid Bakers bring the enthusiasm! We are excited to be back to baking with some of our favorite kid chefs! Class starts at 10AM and concludes at Noon. Each child will make their own breads with the assistance of an instructor. The class is for kids 8 and up! If you have a sibling or a child younger than 8 you are welcome to sign up. an adult will be required to be present to assist, We look forward to baking with you!

    Welcome to our most amazing Murder Mystery event to date! Our audience plays an interactive role with our actors to tell the story and solve the crime! Our audience will complete straight up Goofy challenges to win Clues....discover hidden evidence and some audience members even become characters in the story! Its the perfect evening for those who like to solve crimes and those who love to participate in some seriously bad acting! The evening includes an amazing catered dinner from Ol' Railroad Cafe. To ensure social distancing we are seating reservations at individual tables. When making a reservation, if you wish to be seated with a specific party, please leave your request in the comments. Join us for Mystery Dinner Theater on March 5th and March 6th at our Studio in Rosenberg!   5. Creative Learning Society - Spring Break Theater Camp

    It’s Spring Break Theater Camp! Open to kids ages 8-15! Campers will spend the week learning about acting and production while rehearsing for a Friends and Family Performance on the final day of camp! Camp starts March 15th and ends March 19th from 9am - 12pm - (we have two performances to accommodate for social distancing in the theater) We will meet daily at our new Theater location at 1909 Ave G in Rosenberg TX, next to OL' RailRoad Cafe. The final performance will be offered on March 19th at 11AM and 1PM. A virtual link for the performances via Zoom will be available upon request by parents to share with close family who cannot attend in-person. The cost for camp is $125/actor

In our traditional version of Dinner Theater our guests and audience members have front row seats to the wackiest array of Murder Mystery stories this side of the Brazos! Compete at your table in some straight up Goofy challenges to win Clues and discover hidden evidence. Select audience members may even become characters in the story! The evening includes an amazing catered dinner from Chef Daniel Ornelas owner of Ol' Railroad Cafe. We are complying with all COVID guidelines and restrictions. Audience members are required to wear masks upon entry and exit, however, one seated for dinner you may remove your mask. Performers are required to wear masks when interacting with guests. Tables are sat based on Reservation to ensure social distancing guidelines.

  1. Rosenberg Development Corporation (RDC) Meeting

    March 10, 2021, 5:30 PM @ Rosenberg Civic Center

    The Corporation is organized exclusively for the purposes of benefiting and accomplishing public purposes of, and to act on behalf of, the City, by promoting, assisting and enhancing economic and industrial development activities and may issue bonds, and expend the proceeds of any sales and use tax levied for the benefit of the Corporation for the promotion and development of commercial, industrial and manufacturing enterprises to promote and encourage employment and the public welfare and to promote or develop new or expanded business enterprises, including public facilities. The RDC oversees the expenditure of sales tax collected for economic development purposes in accordance with State law. Established through a public referendum in 1995, the RDC is allocated one-half cent of the City’s sales tax proceeds to invest in projects that promote or develop new or expanding businesses, create jobs, and/or improve the quality of life in the community.

    The Image Committee’s purpose is to develop and implement a beautification and cleanup plan of action to improve Rosenberg’s image in order to help attract economic development and new residents; to promote a cleaner city through projects, education, and alteration of attitudes; and to work with other city committees to improve the image of the community. The Image Committee was originally called the “Clean Up” Committee, and later the “Rosenberg Clean Up/Image” Committee. The Image Committee awards monthly renovation and landscaping awards to Rosenberg residents.

  4. Planning Commission Meeting

    The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the City Council concerning proposed changes in land use, and reviews developments through the platting process. The work of this Commission is designed to promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the community. The Commission reviews subdivision plats, development proposals, and other development-related requests and makes recommendations to City Council related to planning and development matters in accord with the provisions of the Texas Local Government Code. The City of Rosenberg Planning Commission meets regularly on the third Wednesday of the month in the City Hall Council Chamber located at 2110 4th Street. The Planning Commission consists of six members who are appointed for two-year terms by the City Council. Planning Commission meetings are open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend.
