The City of Rosenberg Utilities Department will begin sample collection in June 2023 for Lead and Copper monitoring to comply with the Lead & Copper Rule, as established by State and Federal Regulations.
The sample collection program will be accomplished through the cooperation between homeowners/residents and the public water supply and/or its representative. The sample locations have been chosen based on water quality and overall system representation, with the previous approval of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). The sampling monitoring program is required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for all public water systems providing potable water in the United States.
THE FOLLOWING STREETS HAVE BEEN SELECTED FOR SAMPLING:
Bernard, Dogwood, Elizabeth, Greenwood, Hamilton, Hardwood, Hickory Way, Johnson, Longhorn, Maple Circle, Monroe, Palm Court, Parkway, Pine, Spruce, Tremont, Truman Circle, Ward and Woodway.
What to expect if your home address is selected: A City of Rosenberg Water Utilities staff member will knock on your door and provide a sample container and instructions.
