2023 Special Election & Bond Election

ELECTION DAY: Tuesday, November 7, 2023 (7:00 am - 7:00 pm)

At the January 24, 2023 City Council Workshop meeting and the February 7, 2023 Regular City Council meeting, a majority of Council members voted to move forward with a November 7, 2023 Special Election to amend the City's Charter.

At the February 28, 2023 City Council Workshop meeting, it was a consensus of Council members to move forward with a November 7, 2023 Bond Election for the Fire Station No. 4 project and the Public Works Complex.

Elections in the City of Rosenberg are conducted in accordance with the Texas Election Code and the City Charter. For more information, contact the City Secretary’s Office at 832-595-3340 or by email at dswint@rosenbergtx.gov.  

Voter registration is handled by the Texas Secretary of State's Office or Fort Bend County Elections Administrator.  The last day to register to vote in the November 7, 2023 election is Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

The first day to apply for a ballot by mail using Application for a Ballot by Mail (ABBM) or Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) was Sunday, January 1, 2023.  The last day to apply for an ABBM (received, not postmarked) is Friday, October 27, 2023. The last day to receive an ABBM is Tuesday, November 7, 2023 (election day) at 7:00 pm if carrier envelope is not postmarked, OR by Wednesday, November 8, 2023 (next business day after election day) at 5:00 pm if carrier envelope is postmarked by 7:00 pm at the location of the election on election day (unless overseas or military voter deadlines apply).

Early Voting begins Monday, October 23, 2023, and ends Friday, November 3, 2023.  Early voting locations will be released at a later date.
