Assistant Chief Jarret Nethery started his police career with the Rosenberg Police Department as a patrol officer in 2005. In 2007 he transitioned to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office and returned to the City of Rosenberg in 2018.
Nethery has served in various supervisory and command capacities throughout his career, including Investigations, Detention, Administration, School Resource, Internal Affairs, Special Operations and as a Public Information Officer.
Assistant Chief Nethery completed his undergraduate education at Sam Houston State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Assistant Chief Nethery earned a Master’s Degree from Sam Houston State University in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management and further holds a Master Peace Officer certificate through TCOLE.
