Debris Pickup
Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Management will be picking up storm debris on 3 different days, starting on May 20. The county will notify residents of the dates before each pickup. Residents are asked to separate their flood debris by category:
- Appliance and white goods debris
- Construction debris
- Household/hazardous waste debris
- Vegetative debris
Storm debris should be placed in the right-of-way by the curb. Non-Storm Debris will not be picked up at the same time, county officials said. Likewise, debris will not be picked up from private streets or gated communities. For more information, visit Fort Bend County Homeland Security and Emergency Management. The website also allows property owners to report their damage.
