Image Committee

Overview

The Image Committee (Committee) was established by City Council in 1994.  It's purpose is to develop and implement a beautification and cleanup plan of action to improve Rosenberg's image in order to help attract economic development and new residents; to promote a cleaner city through projects, education, and alteration of attitudes; and to work with other city committees to improve the image of the community. The Image Committee was originally called the "Clean Up" Committee, and later the "Rosenberg Clean Up/Image" Committee. The Image Committee awards monthly renovation and landscaping awards to Rosenberg residents.

The Committee shall consist of at least seven (7) members, and serve a one-year term.  All members are voting members, including City Council appointees.  Members must be a resident of the City or own property or a business located within the City limits.

The most recent bylaws of the Committee were approved by City Council on July 3, 2018 by Resolution No. R-2531.

Meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 6:00 pm at the RDC building, 3829 Hwy 36 S, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
