Commercial Building Permit Fees
Commercial Building Permit Fees are based on the following schedule:
|$1,000 and less||No fee, unless inspection required, in which case a $15 fee for each inspection shall be charged|
|$1,000 to $50,000||$15 for the first $1,000 plus $5 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $50,000|
|$50,000 to $100,000||$260 for the first $50,000 plus $4 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $100,000|
|$100,000 to $500,000||$460 for the first $100,000 plus $3 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $500,000|
|$500,000 and up||$1,660 for the first $500,000 plus $2 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof|
- Moving fee. For the moving of any building or structure, the fee shall be $100.
- Demolition fee. For the demolition of any building or structures, the fee shall be:
|0 to 100,000||$5|
|100,000 and over||$0.50 per 1,000 cubic feet|

Infrastructure Permit Fees
Submittals for any city infrastructure must be submitted to the City of Rosenberg Planning Department for review and approval. Infrastructure Permit Fees can be calculated using the Infrastructure Fee Calculation Form (PDF). More information can be found on the City Infrastructure Page.
Inspection fees for water, sanitary sewer, drainage, and street improvements shall be based upon estimated costs provided by the applicant along with supporting information for determination of the cost of the project. These fees shall be payable on the earlier of the time of platting or upon request of the building permit. The inspection fee shall be as follows:
- 1% of actual construction cost of projects.
