Municipal Court
The City of Rosenberg Municipal Court is holding in-person hearings.
To reduce courtroom occupancy and to promote social distancing, if you have an upcoming court date, you must call the Municipal Court at 832-595-3450, before your court date, and the court staff will assign a time for you to appear on your court date.
To protect the community and municipal court staff, face coverings or masks are highly recommended but not required for all those appearing for proceedings at the City of Rosenberg Municipal Court. A variety of individuals are compelled to appear at the City of Rosenberg Municipal Court and for the protection of them and staff, face coverings or masks are highly recommended for those who appear in court. This protocol will be in place until further notice.
Governor Greg Abbott issued executive orders prohibiting governmental entities or officials from mandating masks in government facilities, however the Governor’s executive orders do not alter Texas Supreme Court emergency orders and a judge’s inherent right to control his/her courtroom, by recommending face coverings and masks.
The Municipal Court windows will remain open to accept payments, and online payments are available through Municipal Online Payments.
For questions, or if you have concerns about your particular case, please contact the Municipal Court at 832-595-3450.
Jurisdiction
